Besides offering education, MTIM has provided support for the area's therapists through information and referrals. Over the years, countless phone referrals have been provided for our graduates.
With over 150 graduates, the Alumni of the Massage Therapy Institute of Missouri enjoys an Alumni Association!
Your original membership in MTIM (your application fee) entitles you to receive our e-newsletter, complete with placement postings, news, and upcoming Continuing Education workshops.
However, an Alumni Association membership UPGRADE is available for $50 which allows additional benefits: inclusion into our referral listing service, Continuing Education priority placement in workshops, teaching and research assistantships, discounts on products and equipment, and travel benefits. The benefits of the Internet make it possible to provide extensive info and referral services for your practices. Our extensive network, with 4 sites and registration with over a dozen listing services, provides a valuable series of links back to your listing. That's why they call it THE WEB!
Your listing includes your Business name, address, phone, your email and web address, and a brief description of your practice.
Priority placement guarantees that you will be allowed two weeks' advance registration into MTIM workshops, before anyone else is allowed to register. Payment Plans are also an option.
Teaching and Research Assistantships allow you to gain additional knowledge and experience, or enlist the help of students and faculty in research projects.
MTIM added retail in the Fall of 2008. Discounts on products, supplies, and equipment rentals are available to you. Standard Alumni discount is 15%, with seasonal specials. Shop on our affiliates' sites and then call Mirra at 573-449-4929 to determine your particular needs and place your order.
